When Your AC System Is a Dud, It’s Air Professionals to the Rescue!

System Repairs—Like Fireworks—Are Best Left to Trained Pros

There’s nothing quite as beautiful as a fireworks display on the Fourth of July, especially when it’s part of a celebration held along the banks of the Delaware River or at another breathtaking setting in Central New Jersey.

Of course, when it comes to your air conditioner, a fireworks show is the last thing you want to see because that would mean your AC is slip sliding away and you need air conditioning repair service in Basking Ridge—or a nearby colony. If that happens, the cool techs at Air Professionals will be more than happy to glide on over to serve you. With more than two decades of experience under our bellies, er, belts, we have seen it all—and fixed it all. You can rely on us to keep you from skating on thin ice or getting into hot water.

Here at Air Professionals, we’re all about safety. So, we’re offering this friendly reminder: Most fireworks, especially the ones that go skyward and/or pack powerful punches, are still illegal in the Garden State. In 2017, Gov. Chris Christie signed legislation that relaxed New Jersey’s strict fireworks law. Currently, it’s OK for Jerseyans to set off sparklers and novelty fireworks such as party poppers, snappers and smoke devices. But it’s still a major no-no to celebrate with anything more powerful.

The team at Air Professionals feels the safest way to celebrate our nation’s birth is at public celebrations where potentially dangerous fireworks are kept in the hands of trained professionals. But we also know that many families find those backyard celebrations fun, too. So we’re offering a few safety tips.

  • Be familiar with local fireworks laws and obey them.
  • Make sure to read warning labels.
  • Place a responsible adult in charge and keep fireworks out of the hands of children.
  • If you allow your children to use sparklers, make sure they only use them outside and keep them away from the face, clothing and hair—and other people.
  • Don’t ever pick up a dropped sparkler.
  • Place spent sparklers in water to cool off.
  • Never use homemade fireworks.
  • Keep a bucket of water and hose nearby.

When you experience fireworks with your central air conditioning, it’s equally important to rely on the trained professionals. Our techs are NATE-certified and have the skills, experience and coolest composure to fix what ails your system.

Unfortunately, there comes a time when your AC unit will experience a total meltdown. Air Professionals will never try to snow you into a costlier replacement when a more economical repair will keep your AC running efficiently and your home feeling comfortable. But when your unit is beyond repair, we’ll hook you up with a top-shelf air conditioning installation in Hillsborough and throughout the area.
